National Radon Poster Contest

2010 National Radon Poster Contest Wraps Up!

The 2010 National Radon Poster Contest has concluded and the winners have been announced! The national winners will be recognized at EPA’s 10th annual Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools Symposium in Washington, DC during a special awards ceremony on January 15, 2009. Please consider hosting an awards ceremony or other special event for your state or local winner. It’s a great way to build awareness; get more homes and schools tested; generate local media coverage; and ultimately save lives from radon-induced lung cancer. Kansas State University (K-State), in partnership with EPA will sponsor the 2011 Contest, after working with the National Safety Council (NSC) on this year’s most successful effort. Please visit this site in January for information about the 2011 Contest and supporting materials.
